Thanks for your comment on my Too Much Disco! Are the Rich Ranch tracks yours? If you look @ the tracklist for a few of my mixes, you'll notice the Rich Ranck influenced picks, like in We Are The Nights...., Hands In The Air, Warehouse Daze, and Get Down Syndrome. I referred to the tapes you made me for tracks like Moonstomping , Welcome, Airport 89, etc... I've actually been looking for some tracks that you had in your collection like the original instrumental version of Things Can Only Get Better and that rave track that sampled "Satisfaction" by the Stones. So many tracks from back in the day that would work on today's crowds. Right now I'm finishing up a mix with Malcolm Mclaren, Cocteau Twins, Paul McCartney, and Bent.... A downtempo mix. Recently I've been stuck on Gonzales "Soft Power", Tahiti 80, the Justice Fabric Mix from 2 yrs ago,The Fashion, and La Roux's singles. Waiting for the Zoot Woman album to finally drop (maybe around the same time Avalanches will release their new album). What kind of reaction do you get with the older tracks? Anyone ask "what's this?" like it's new . I have no patience for Djs that only play new stuff, they gotta mix it up and have a sense of fun about it. Later, Donald
